The Thumpy Paddle is a great option for a medium sized paddle. The Thumpy is small enough for just about anyone, but it's getting big enough for those who want some serious marks left over. The long handle means two handed use can give new tops extra control.
These paddles are made from a variety of beautiful woods like maple for a lighter color or black walnut for a darker color. They are all finished with mineral oil and beeswax for a body safe finish that's easy to maintain at home.
Update 1 October 2025: All new Thumpy paddles now include a “waffle” pattern on one side intended to leave grid shaped marks as well a hole and lanyard. New product photos have not yet been taken of each wood.
